What is aloe vera and what can this plant?

When we see an Aloe Vera plant, it often gives us a feeling of vacation, as it is found mainly in dry and warm areas, and it is often by our side as an after sun product. But did you know that it is an absolute miracle product for your hair and scalp?

Aloe vera, often called “desert lily”, is rich in enzymes, amino acids, vitamins and minerals that can not only support the scalp and hair growth, but also help to strengthen the hair structure and add shine. As a result, aloe vera can help fight dryness, dandruff and itching of the scalp and create an ideal environment for beautiful healthy hair.

We show you how to use aloe vera correctly and what to look out for. Used regularly, it strengthens and fortifies your hair, giving it a new shine.

5 reasons to use aloe vera for your hair

1. it can relieve itchy and flaky scalp

Aloe vera can work wonders for an itchy or flaky scalp. The plant has natural anti-inflammatory properties that can help soothe itchy and flaky scalp. The enzymes and vitamins contained in it have a soothing effect on irritated skin areas and reduce itching.

The moisturizing properties of aloe vera intensely moisturize the scalp, reducing dryness and dandruff. In this way, your scalp can regenerate and restore a natural scalp.

2. it helps you get rid of greasy hair

If you sometimes struggle with oily hair, aloe vera could also be your salvation. It has sebum-regulating properties that can help control excess oil on your scalp.

With its natural enzymes that act gently on the sebaceous glands, it regulates oil production and prevents an excessively greasy feeling in your hair. Their cleansing properties can also unclog the pores of the scalp from residues that could increase the greasy appearance. Thus, by using aloe vera in your hair care products, you can keep hair looking fresh and vital without producing excess oil.

3. it strengthens broken hair

Have you ever thought about strengthening your hair? Aloe Vera can revive your damaged hair by strengthening the hair structure and reducing split ends.

Since the plant is rich in nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids, it can strengthen your hair from root to ends. These nutrients support the structure and elasticity of the hair, which can prevent breakage and split ends. The fact that Aloe Vera contains proteolytic enzymes that can remove dead skin cells of the scalp and thus improve the absorption of nutrients, this cleansing action promotes a healthy scalp, which is essential for strong hair growth.

In addition, it forms a protective film around each hair to protect it from environmental damage and harmful influences. This contributes to the longevity and health of the hair.

4. aloe vera protects your hair from the sun

Another benefit of aloe vera is that it has natural UV protective properties that can protect your hair from the harmful effects of the sun. The aloe gel layer formed on the hair can act as a barrier and block the harmful UV rays that can dry and weaken the hair.

This protection is especially important to preserve the fading of hair color and prevent premature aging of the hair. Also, aloe vera contains many antioxidants that protect the cells in your scalp from oxidative stress caused by sun exposure.

5. it stimulates your hair growth

The enzymes contained in the plant stimulate blood flow to your scalp, thereby stimulating hair growth. They help to open the pores of the scalp to allow for better nutrient absorption so that the numerous vitamins and minerals can be absorbed into your skin while supporting hair growth.

These nutrients also help strengthen hair follicles and improve hair structure, thereby minimizing hair breakage and leading to longer and stronger hair.

Beautiful healthy hair with proper use

When choosing a shampoo and conditioner, make sure they have a high amount of aloe vera in the product. Avoid products with artificial additives and chemicals, because they can quickly dry out your hair.

If you use pure aloe vera gel, for example the one from Seven Minerals, make sure that it is as natural as possible and without additives. Apply the gel evenly to your scalp and gently massage it in. Leave it on for a few minutes before rinsing thoroughly.
